How Different File Types Appear in the Chat

Taskip renders each attachment differently depending on what it is, so you can preview it without downloading first:

  • Images show as an inline thumbnail. Clicking one opens a full-size gallery viewer you can page through, covering every image in that message.
  • Video and audio files get an inline player with playback controls, right in the message, so you can watch or listen without leaving the conversation.
  • PDF, Word, and PowerPoint files that Taskip can generate a preview for show as a larger card with a page-one preview image, the file name, its size, and a download button.
  • Any other file type shows as a compact icon with its file name, which you can click to open in the file viewer or download.
