Project Finance Permissions

Two permissions control the money side of projects. Both are listed under Teams → Permissions in the Work group, and an administrator can grant them to any role, including custom roles.

  • Project Finance opens the project Finance tab and the Profit tracker.
  • Project Expenses opens the Expense tracker and lets people add, edit and delete a project's expenses, according to the create, edit and delete rights.

By default only Administrators and Managers have them. Members, Clients and custom roles have none until you grant them. The own scope covers the projects the person leads, and all covers every project. Clients never see project finances. The Projects permission does not include either of them.

Summary

Role Permissions in Taskip ensure secure, structured access control by defining exactly what each user role can access and manage across the platform.
