How to change Quotation prefix and use precision number as quotation number

To customize the quotation number prefix and enable precision numbering for your quotations, follow these steps:

  1. Access the Settings Menu

    • Click on your profile avatar or name at the top right of the dashboard.
    • Select Settings from the dropdown.

  2. Navigate to Quotation Settings

    • On the left sidebar, click on Quotations Settings.

  3. Select the General Tab

    • Once in the Quotation Settings, go to the General tab.

  4. Change the Quotation Number Prefix

    • Locate the Quotation Number Prefix input field.
    • Enter the desired prefix (e.g., “Quo-“) for your quotations. This prefix will be prepended to all generated quotation numbers.

  5. Enable Quotation Number Precision

    • Toggle the Quotation Number Precision switch to enable precision numbering. When enabled, this option ensures that your quotation numbers follow a precise and consistent format.

  6. Save Changes

    • After setting your desired prefix and enabling the precision option, click the Save Changes button to apply the new settings.

These settings allow you to standardize your quotation numbers with a specific prefix and a precise numbering format, making your quotations more organized and easier to track.
