Edit or Update a Service

The Edit Service feature allows you to keep your service listings accurate, updated, and relevant. You can modify service details such as pricing, descriptions, packages, and media at any time to reflect changes in your offerings.

Keeping your services updated helps maintain credibility and improves client trust and conversions.

Pre-Conditions

Before editing a service, ensure:

  • You have a valid Taskip account
  • You are logged in
  • At least one service already exists in the Services section
  • You have Super Admin or Admin permissions

How to Edit a Service

Step 1: Access Services

Log in to your Taskip account and go to the dashboard.

Navigate to:

Services → Service Catalog

You will see a list of all created services.

Step 2: Locate the Service

Find the service you want to edit.

Click the three-dot (⋮) menu on the right side of the service card.

A dropdown menu will appear.

Step 3: Open Edit Mode

Click Edit Service.

The service configuration form will open, showing all existing details.

Step 4: Update Service Information

You can now modify any of the following:

  • Service Name (e.g., “SEO Optimization Pro”)
  • Service Description (e.g., update scope or deliverables)
  • Service Type (One-time or Subscription)
  • Pricing (e.g., $199 → $249)
  • Category (e.g., Marketing → Digital Marketing)
  • Availability or visibility settings

Step 5: Update Media (Optional)

You can also refresh your service visuals:

  • Upload new images or banners
  • Replace outdated previews
  • Improve branding with updated visuals

Example:

  • Before: Generic stock image
  • After: Real project screenshot or case study preview

Step 6: Save Changes

Once all updates are complete, click:

Update Service

Confirmation

After saving:

  • Your service listing is instantly updated
  • Changes are reflected in the client-facing catalog
  • Existing orders remain unaffected
