The Export Leads feature allows you to download your lead data from the system in a structured file format (CSV). This is useful for reporting, backups, data migration, and sharing information with external tools or teams.
Overview
With Export Leads, you can:
- Download all leads or filtered data
- Create backups of your CRM data
- Analyze leads in external tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets)
- Share lead data with stakeholders
Exports are generated in CSV format, ensuring compatibility with most systems.
Navigation
To access the export feature:
- Go to Leads
- Click the + (Plus icon) next to the Create Lead button
- Select Export
- You will be redirected to:
Settings → Data Management → Exports
Export Options
Depending on system configuration, you may have the following options:
3.1 Export All Leads
- Downloads all lead records in the system
3.2 Export Filtered Leads
- Export only selected leads based on filters such as:
- Status
- Lead Source
- Owner
- Date range
Export Process
Step 1: Open Export Section
- Navigate to Exports under Data Management
Step 2: Select Data Type
- Choose Leads as the export category
Step 3: Apply Filters (Optional)
- Narrow down the data if needed
Step 4: Click Export
- Start the export process
System Behavior
- Export runs in the background
- A file is generated in CSV format
- Processing time depends on data size
Notification
After initiating export, you may see:
- Notification Message:
- “Export started. Your file will be available shortly.”
Once ready:
- A download link may appear
or - File may be available in the Exports section
Download Export File
- Go to Settings → Data Management → Exports
- Locate your generated file
- Click Download
