How to add file upload support to form

To add phone number input support to a form, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to Forms Section:
    • Go to the “Forms” tab from the sidebar (indicated as step 1 in the second image).
  2. Select the Form to Edit:
    • Select the form you want to edit from the list (indicated as step 2 in the second image).

To add a file upload field to your form, follow these steps:

  1. Select the File Upload Field:
    • On the right side of the form builder, locate the “File Upload” option.
    • Drag and drop it into your form where you want the file upload section to appear.
  2. Configure the File Upload Field:
    • Once added, you can configure settings such as:
      • Label: Set a name for the file upload field.
      • Allowed File Types: Define the types of files that users are allowed to upload (e.g., jpg, png, pdf).
      • File Size Limit: Set a maximum file size that can be uploaded (e.g., under 20 MB).
  3. Preview and Test the Form:
    • After adding and configuring the file upload field, preview the form to ensure it works correctly for file submissions.

This will add a file upload option to your form, allowing users to upload files as specified.

In the “Field Settings” for the File Upload field, you can configure the following options:

  1. Label:
    • Set the label that will be displayed for the file upload field (e.g., “File Upload”).
  2. Required:
    • Toggle this switch to make the field mandatory for users to upload a file before submitting the form.
  3. Info Text:
    • Optionally, provide additional instructions or details for the user in the “Info Text” field.
  4. File Type:
    • Choose the type of files that can be uploaded:
      • Images: Accepts common image file formats like jpg, png, gif, jpeg.
      • Files: Accepts documents and other file formats like txt, zip, pdf, doc, docx, xls.
  5. Submit or Cancel:
    • Click Submit to save the changes and add the file upload field to your form.
    • Use Cancel to discard any changes.

After configuring these settings, your form will be updated with the file upload functionality based on the defined parameters.
